The only knobs that are currently for sale as new items on Ebay that we have seen are the Flasher and S/Brake. There may be a few others that make brief appearances from time to time. So how come only these few knobs are still hanging around as new? Simply, because these are the knobs that are "low use" on the car. As the "high use" knobs, Light, Choke, Throttle etc., are pretty much dried up and no longer around, this would indicate, that the originals have a poor life span, have broken in use, and as a result, Nissan's surplus inventory was used up years ago. This is why we decided to offer a new line of knobs. You really have to look closely to be able to tell the difference. We have replicated every detail,smooth surface no lathe machine marks, color of the letters and symbols, letter font, aluminum knurled rear insert (see photo in part#1727), every parting line and contour even some of the casting flaws the originals had are present on our repros. All knobs feature the rear aluminum knurled insert. Having a original knob and saying so may be your thing, but that would mean you would have to find all the other original parts for your car, like the shift label stickers, trunk weatherstrip, battery frames etc. and these days it's just too hard to locate. Besides the improvements made here assure you of a long lasting affordable part especially because most of these knobs are unobtainable.
