Compare this to any Hayden or off-brand electrical fan from Auto Zone or other retail outlets. NOTE: Use of this fan in a 2000 requires some modifications during the installation procedure. The horizontal radiator support brackets need to be spaced approximately 3/4 of a inch from their normal mounting point. Longer bolts are required as well. Spacers and the proper bolts are included with the 2000 conversion. The space is necessary to clear the shaft on the water pump. In addition, the front air scoop will no longer line up with and bolt to the flange on the radiator. No modification is required for the early or late 1600 or 1600 motors stroked to 2000.
