This is a closer view of the installed fan pictured in the engine section part# 1203 Click here, for more info and to view this part installed on a Datsun roadster. Just look at the heavy duty motor powering this unit. Compare this to any Hayden or off-brand electrical fan from AutoZone or other retail outlets.

NOTE: Use of this fan in a 2000 requires some modifications during the installation procedure. The horizontal radiator support brackets need to be spaced approximately 3/4 of a inch from their normal mounting point. Longer bolts are required as well. Spacers and the proper bolts are included with the 2000 conversion. The space is necessary to clear the shaft on the water pump. In addition, the front air scoop will no longer line up with and bolt to the flange on the radiator. No modification is required for the 1600 or 1600 motors stroked to 2000.
