Partnumber: 1779 Datsun RoadsterTachometer Cable 65 - 70 Tachometer cable. This is the same Nissan cable that has been around for years. Correct length with longer shield at Tach end. This shield makes it more difficult to get a straight shot in to tach on 68 - 70 models. Carefully removing the shield up to the marked area (see insert) will allow the cable to secure with greater ease. None of the later B5055-A3302 Nissan cables came with a efficent inner seal despite what people may tell you. They all have the same new style seal that all of us sell. Don't get us wrong the seal does work, but not as well as the older version. See part# 1850 for more info and the correct ID inner oil seal that we now carry. The stock seal is easy to remove if you choose to go this route.You are not required to buy this seal. It is only an option. It is your decesion not ours. We are merely offering the seal as it originally came this way from Nissan. |
