One day it was there and the next day gone! These gas cap doors have a small post integral to the casting that have a small spring and washer installed over it. At the end of this post it was simply peened over to hold everything together. Eventually, through use,this peened area will break and the door will no longer be held tightly in position. Poor little doors will then vibrate off and become road kill. No worries or need to throw away your door-less gas cap or even buy a new one(MUCHO DINERO). Here is a great little kit! Contents include: New door w/rubber gasket, washer and spring, set screw and minature bottle of Loc-tite to keep the screw from ever backing out. We have also included the rubber gasket(as per later style) that installs on the gas cap that seals to the filler neck. Kit comes with one replacement door and includes a simple, clear instruction sheet. The other shot is the reverse angle showing the detail. Note:Early 63 - 67 Gas cap kit #A does not come with a cork gasket like the original had that sealed the cap to the filler neck.	$37.00
