Partnumber: 2211 Datsun Roadster 68 - 70 Cowl Drain Hose-Intro Offer Datsun Roadster 68 - 70 Cowl Drain Hose. Great new hose. Nissan discontinued these years ago are not aware of any current new offerings from the Datsun vendors. Too many bends to splice over the counter generic hoses together to correctly imitate the original hose. The hose we offer for 65 - 67 1/2 year cars is routed in a completely different fashion within the passenger compartment and can not be substituted or used on the 68 - 70 cars. Good reasons to replace this hose: 1)Every time you wash your car you risk bringing water into the passenger compartment via the fresh air vent where the drain hole is located for the hose. 2)If it is raining then the water can enter in and soak the carpets and floor boards as well. Photo shows hose if it were installed and viewed from the engine compartment through the firewall. Long tail end easily fits into metal strap on the tunnel next to the transmission. |
