When the full gas shocks were available (we still have them in stock) all other Datsun vendors raved about how great the performance was and couldn't say anything bad about them... then. Now it seems they push only what they can get. Well, we offer both and although other Datsun vendors favor the economy series, it seems biased. Our customers and the Datsun Roadster world from the past and present still love the full gas series. We don't fall out of love with something just because it becomes obsolete. Differential Suspension	Partnumber: 1883 Datsun Roadster Competition Short Bump Stop Rear Suspension. Differential Housing Competition Short Bump stop. Designed to be specifically installed when using competition leaf springs which lower the ride height in the back by 2 inches. Never before available. Even Nissan Comp never carried these. Yes you can cut your old taller ones on the car. Be aware that sometimes the originals on the car do become hard overtime and loose all progressive properties. New old stock units have a tendency to harden overtime as well. Also you can not simply hack off 2 inches. Here is why. Note that pictured bump stop comes to a point. The bump stop should be progressive and have a spring quality to preserve proper suspension handling. Not convinced? Hack the originals off to a flat surface, hit the track and see what happens. These were made by a qualified Suspension component manufacturer and design was shown and imput received from experts in racing. Don't like them? Don't think they're shaped properly. That's OK. Suspension	Partnumber: 1889 Datsun Roadster Upper control arm bump stop Upper control arm bump stop. No longer available from Nissan. These do not come with new upper arms. Great when powder coating your arms when doing a ground up as the process of powder coating will burn them out. It's hard to remove the originals without damaging the part. Note: Thin tail after nipple on part( See photo). This is to aid in assembly. Simply thread tail through the hole in the A -arm. Grab tail with a pliers and pull the nipple through the hole. No these are not the newer run , stiffer, taller Nissan Eibach spring or copies of Mike Young's spring. The only reason we mention the other vendors is to clear up any idea or notion that we copied someone elses current design. SPECIAL NOTE: This new spring set, when installed, will lower your car 1/8 inch beyond any other comp spring on the market. Super comp spring, part#2113, will lower the car 1/2 inch beyond any other comp spring on the market. This spring set was engineered and made by a ISO QS9001 certified manufacturer authenticated with paperwork. Manufacturing details provided by the spring manufacturer. Powdercoated. Choose color: orange/red or black. Manufactured using state of the art CNC coiling machines. Pre-Heat treated steel rod is coiled to exact inside diameter as opposed to older mandrel bent technology with heat treating being performed after spring has been wound. Manufacturer, using current CNC technology, was given the goal of reverse engineering, from a original new 54010-25510 Japanese manufactured Datsun comp spring sample, a faithful reproduction. Attention was also given to insure greater longevity. Set has a Free length: 8.900, Spring rate: 860 lb/in. Same static height and travel matching the original. New Products Suspension	Partnumber: 2113 Datsun Roadster Super Competition Front Spring Set Also for 510 Rear Lowest of the low!!! Absolutely, positively lowers the front end of the roadster lower than any advertised spring including our own new regular comp spring. For comparison see 1st photo. Our regular comp spring is the one on the far left. This new spring is the same rate as our regular comp spring 860 lbs. 2 monthes ago, using the same vehicle, we completed a extensive, controlled, proper and fair test of this spring as compared to our regular comp spring and one other manufacturers product currently on the market. Test results show that the Super Comp spring lowered the test vehicle 1/2 inch lower than both our regular comp spring and the other brand comp spring currently being sold. Too low you say? New Products Suspension	Partnumber: 2174 Dastsun Roadster Lower Spring Seat Cushion Lower front spring urethane seat cushion. Non flanged .225 thick o-ring cushion. Flanged oring in the top portion of the photo is the upper spring oring cushion. These all new parts install in the lower spring seat. Never a regular item from Nissan. These were made by special request for customers complaining about spring noise. This never really bothered us. This may or may not be your cup of tea. We just thought we would make it available to those who are interested. This can be used with our Super Comp springs if you would like a higher ride.
